There are several recording services we offer:
-
1. Tracking
-
2. Mixing
-
3. Mastering
-
4. Mass Production
Tracking
The tracking portion of the recording process is where all of the music is recorded to a computer. Involved in this process are mics, preamps, converters, and sometimes EQ’s and compressors. We can be as involved in this process (from a production standpoint) as the artist desires. We have a large room that is primarily used for tracking drums, bass, guitars, and vocals, with mobile, industry standard, room treatment that is used to control unwanted sonic room reflections. We also have various professional studio musicians available for hire if needed.
Mixing
The mixing phase of a project is where the engineer takes all of the raw tracks recorded and puts them together in such a way that the artist’s vision for a song is fully realized. Involved in this process are converters, EQ’s, compressors, plug-in effects, mixers, and automation. The artist is free to be as involved in this part of the process as desired.
Mastering
The mastering portion of the recording process is the final stage before mass duplication. It is the job of the mastering engineer to put the finishing touches on a project so that an artist’s work may realize its full potential. Involved in this process are converters, EQ’s, compressors, plug-in effects, and limiters. The artist is free to be as involved in this part of the process as desired.
Mass Production
We do not mass produce CD’s or DVD’s on site, but are able to take care of as much, or little, of that process as desired. We have a professional photographer available for hire and consultation as well as extensive knowledge in the CD/DVD production process.
